We are hiring a Strategic Account Manager in Denmark toexpand the impact of our growing portfolios in Respiratory & Immunology.

About the role

Do you want to play a key role in shaping the growth journey of a key product for AstraZeneca in a dynamic market? As a Strategic Account Manager at AstraZeneca, you get both responsibility and freedom to influence strategy and execution in an area with strong potential for expansion You will play a pivotal role in executing projects aiming to increase sustainability  and driving change in how healthcare is delivered to patients ensuring more patients receive the right (sustainable) treatment to address a significant unmet need. You will be responsible for identifying local and regional business opportunities and setting direction for the cross-functional team ensuring robust account strategies are developed to achieve commercial targets. In this role, high-value accounts such as hospitals and supply pharmacies will be identified and prioritized, ensuring that AstraZeneca's brands are differentiated in key areas to improve market positioning.

This is a field-based position expected to cover region Southern Denmark (Southern Jutland and Funen).

Collaboration is key, requiring close work with the local brand team to develop tailored strategies for each account and stakeholder. Efforts will be crucial in achieving favourable brand listings, protocol inclusion, and increased brand usage through effective OMNI channel planning and execution.

Leveraging data analytics, market research, and customer insights, you will identify growth opportunities and utilize tools like Veeva to track customer interactions and forecast sales. Your ability to provide value-based selling by highlighting the clinical, economic, and patient outcomes of AstraZeneca's products will be essential.

Building and maintaining strategic partnerships within the therapeutic area ecosystem is a vital part of your role. Staying informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and healthcare policies is crucial to ensure AstraZeneca remains at the forefront of the market.

Patient-centricity will be at the heart of all your discussions and solutions, and you will support Transform Care projects. Throughout all your business practices, you will demonstrate AstraZeneca's values, ethics, and compliance.

Essential Experience:

  • Academic degree or equivalent in Business or Healthcare.

  • Minimum 5-7 years in healthcare sectors or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Proven expertise in driving sales execution and excelling in customer-facing interactions.

  • Shown project management skills and understanding of omnichannel execution.

  • Solid analytical skills to ensure data-driven insights can be utilised to drive performance for long-term strategic fit.

  • Excellent local language proficiency and very strong English skills, with an aptitude for presentation and stakeholder influence abilities.

  • Strong understanding of the Danish healthcare system, pharma industry, and health economics.

  • Comfortable with digital tools like remote e-detailing and Veeva-approved emails.

  • Growth and adaptive approach to prioritize in a dynamic environment.

  • Valid driver’s license.
